U2 - HOW TO DISMANTLE
AN ATOMIC BOMB
By Brian Elwell
U2 has lost the magic that
they used to have back in the 80s. U2 Recently released their
new album, “How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb” with
hopes of another hit, but unfortunately they failed miserably.
This CD was made with one hit, Vertigo, and really the rest is
all fluff. Honestly the lyrics in this CD are horrible and really
make no sense at all: “I like the sound of my own voice,
I didn’t give anyone else a choice, An intellectual tortoise,
Racing with your bullet train, Some people get squashed crossing
the tracks, Some people got high rises on their backs, I’m
not broke but you can see the cracks, You can make me perfect
again.” And on top of that the music isn’t very good
either. But some credit is due to them for staying together since
1976 and putting out 17 CDs, but it’s time to stop. U2 fans
will like it; any one else won’t, so hopefully for them
their single Vertigo will have enough sales to keep the band going.
