Warrior Football
Takes Section Title

Varsity Warrior football blew away its competition, Bellarmine,
Pioneer, and Palma, in each round of the CCS playoffs.
Valley Christian continues its
reign over WCAL football with their fourth consecutive CCS title,
concluding the 2005 season as Open Division Champions with a record
of 12-1.
The Warriors faced the Saint Francis Lancers on November 4 in what
was undoubtedly the most anticipated game of the season. Stepping
onto the field under their own lights, the team had been preparing
to face the Lancers—ranked first in the league—all season, determined
to leave nothing to chance.
Proving unstoppable once again, Dominique Hunsucker was the leading
rusher for the Warriors, gaining 92 yards throughout the game, followed
closely by Mike Ginther with 80 yards. Quarterback Dante Perez completed
five of six passes for a total of 90 yards, including touchdown passes
to Ginther and Brian North.
On defense, Valley Christian made the most of every opportunity to
keep back the Lancers. Sacks by Cameron Compton, J.J. Kulusich, and

JV Boys Soccer: Starting
Fresh
Usually, the boys J.V. roster is filled with quite a few freshmen.
As there is no freshmen soccer team, it is not at all unusual to see
some of Valley's newest students squaring off against some teams,
like Mitty and Bellarmine, who are chock full of sophomores and even
juniors. Naturally, putting freshman and juniors together seems slightly...
unfair. Things are going to be different this year.

have learned to accept and shake off. Christmas brings joy but it
can also bring several embarrassing moments that a majority of people

up of the Christmas tree, or maybe trying to put together some of
the presents that say "assembly required" can bring those
most memorable Christmas moments.
