A frigid wind ushered fog onto the field during Preliminary Competition Saturday night, November 18 as the band poured their hearts into their penultimate show. Valley received third place with a score of 90.18 trailing Clovis and Beyer High Schools. All three bands were within a margin of only two points, so a fierce competition was anticipated during Finals the next day. During Finals, Valley performed another stunning show and was awarded a score of 91.79.
