Mrs. Connolly

Psalm 37:4-5
“Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires
of your hearts.
Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him and he will do this.”
This verse means a lot to Mrs. Connolly, who already uses this
verse as advice to many of her pupils. “It shows you that
you should worry about what God wants you to do. He gives you
your desires. This verse helps show people that you should do
what God wants you to do, and He will change your desires. Even
though it is not what you had planned, He always leaves you with
a feeling of satisfaction.” Her words of advice to the students
of Valley Christian are that you have never gotten yourself so
far from God that you cannot just bounce right back. “He
is always right there to help you get back up and pick up the
pieces.”
