10 Valentine's Day Ideas for Girls
By Courtney Zane and Kiley Brinkman

Thinking of ideas for Valentine’s Day isn’t only a problem for guys. Girls may be more creative, but here are ten ideas just in case you get stuck. Whether or not they will admit it, guys love Valentine’s Day surprises too!

1. Bake him a cake. It’s no surprise that guys love food and a cake made special by you would make his day. (You can make this however creative you want.)
2. Secret notes in balloons. Fill up his car or locker with bunches of balloons. He’ll have to pop them to drive or get his homework and inside each of the balloons will be a sweet message from you.
3. Make him a build-a-bear. Most guys don’t usually sleep with teddy bears, or do they? Either way, a personalized teddy bear dressed as a football or soccer player will make his day.
4. Put together a collage. He would love a keepsake of all the times you’ve had together and pictures are a great way to remind him!
5. Make him a blanket or a pillow (or both.) Believe it or not, he will sleep with it every single night!
6. Decorate his car. What a surprise it would be for him to find his normally manly car decorated with streamers, bows, and messages from you. Trust us, he’ll think of you all the way home.
7. Construct a scrapbook. For those of you with long relationships, this is the best way to go far back in time and remind him of your first days together. He’ll love flipping through it and seeing all of your memories!
8. Take a trip to Blockbuster. He might not admit it, but guys actually DO like chick-flicks. Besides, all he cares about is seeing it with you. (You may want to throw in an action or horror flick just to make him even happier.)
9. Cook him a candle-light dinner. We realize you might not be the best cook, so plan ahead and pick out a simple meal that will taste great. (Again, never underestimate the power of food when dealing with guys.)
10. Give him tickets to his favorite sports team. He would be beyond excited at the very thought of being at his favorite sports game with his favorite girl. Add in some jerseys or hats and it would be his best Valentine’s Day ever!

Winter Ball
As guys scrounge up the nerve to ask that special girl to Winter Ball, girls are spending their time in dress shops looking for that perfect dress. The worst-case scenario would be for a girl to walk into Decathlon and see another girl wearing the same dress. The only way to avoid this terrible situation is to buy a one of a kind dress from a smaller less popular dress store.
