10 Valentine's Day Ideas for Guys
By Courtney Zane and Kiley Brinkman

Though most guys have forgotten Valentine’s Day entirely, we’re here to remind you that the day is coming quickly. In fact, February 14 is just around the corner. As girls, we realize that the pressure to think of cute ideas may be too much for you to handle, so this article is going to make everything much simpler.

1. Make a CD. Whether she listens to you music or not, she’s going to love the fact that you spent time thinking of songs just for her. (Valentine’s Day is not just for couples. This would be a great way to tell a special someone how you feel!)
2. Leave a rose in every class. This idea may be used a lot, but it never fails!
3. Buy her jewelry. It doesn’t have to be expensive and every girl loves jewelry! She can keep it forever and she will think of you every time she wears it.
4. Send an anonymous package. Fill it with anything that will remind her of all the fun the two of you have together. Sending it anonymously will make it more mysterious (even though, of course she will know it’s you) and getting packages is always exciting.
5. Go on a picnic. This is an extremely inexpensive way to spend Valentine’s Day. Grab a blanket and a homemade lunch and you’re set.
6. Go ice-skating. Who cares if you are completely uncoordinated or don’t even know how to skate? This isn’t the Ice Capades and you both can have fun learning together. (Warning: this may involve quite a few falls.)
7. Leave her secret messages. Any girl would love opening her locker or flipping to a page in a book and finding a message from you! Nothing would flatter her more than being reminded of how much you care for her.
8. Mini-road trip. We understand that most teens can’t just go on a cross-country road trip, but a short drive to a place you don’t normally go to, makes the day a whole lot more interesting. The two of you can find more fun things to do when you get a change of scenery.
9. Dancing under the stars. Maybe this idea sounds slightly complicated, but it’s really easy to do. Take her to a park where you can see the sky very clearly. Bring a portable CD player and a CD of slow songs. Nothing would make her happier than an evening under the stars with you. (You don’t even have to be a good dancer.)
10. Take a walk on the beach. Believe it or not, she only cares about spending time with you on Valentine’s Day. A stroll down the beach (whether it’s freezing or not) is going to be something she’ll always remember.

Winter Ball
As guys scrounge up the nerve to ask that special girl to Winter Ball, girls are spending their time in dress shops looking for that perfect dress. The worst-case scenario would be for a girl to walk into Decathlon and see another girl wearing the same dress. The only way to avoid this terrible situation is to buy a one of a kind dress from a smaller less popular dress store.
