How to Throw a Super Bowl Party

Football, is a huge part of American tradition. When the Super bowl is brought up by somebody many ideas come to mind such as fun, chips and dip, and watching a exciting football game on a big screen television. Throwing a Super Bowl Party is a fun way to spend time watching the game.
There are two main requirements in hosting a great party. The first part in throwing a great party is to have a good place to have this Super Bowl extravaganza. The way to decide where the party should be held is to take into consideration of the television size; it should be able to be viewed by all guests, Comfort is also another important aspect of throwing an unforgetable super bowl pary. Everyone should be able to have a comfortable seat for the game.
Besides the game the most important aspect of the game and preparing for it is making sure the food is impecable and will be enjoyed by all of the guests. At every super bowl party there needs to be the traditional foods like chips and veggies with dip, and every type of soda imaginable. It cannot be a Super Bowl party without your classic meats such as grilled and barbequed chicken, and of course steak. Along with those you should try out some of these Super Bowl recipes: Chunky Guacamole- •½ small sweet onion, very finely chopped •1 fresh hot green chile (serrano or jalapeno), stemmed, seeded and very finely chopped (adjust to your personal tastes) •1 ripe, medium-large tomato, cored and very finely chopped •1 clove garlic, peeled and very finely chopped •10 fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves, chopped •3 ripe, medium-sized avocados •½ teaspoon salt, or to taste •Juice of ½ lime •For garnish: Additional chopped onion and fresh coriander, halved cherry tomatoes.

Varsity Boys Basketball Take On League!
What is that they say about being a gracious host? From December 8-10, the varsity boys basketball team opened their gym for the West Coast Classic, an eight-team tournament of talented basketball squads. The Warriors rolled through their own event, defeating Wilson Prep of Oakland by an 80-25 margin, Mount Eden of Hayward 51-40, and made a victory over defending champion Woodside in the final.
