Christian Music Review: Mary Mary
By Kristin Chulick

There are many common misconceptions about Christian music. Christian music is not just hymns or slow songs that you may hear on the radio. Yet due to those fallacies, many people, even Christians are discouraged in trying to find good Christian music. Mary Mary is one of the best gospel groups around they have a wide variety of upbeat and slow temp songs.
Mary Mary’s entire CD is filled with lyrics that encourage Christians in their walk with God. Not to mention they have beats that will inspire you to get up and start dancing. They write their songs from the heart all their songs have something that can relate to you and what you are going through during that time in your life.
Destiny’s Child has even been featured in a song on their CD. Their songs contain deep meaningful lyrics that will draw you into what they are trying to get across to the listeners. Mary Mary has already been successful throughout their career. They have created many hits such as “Shackles” and “Thankful” which is what one of their CDs is named after. Mary Mary comes highly recommended; because everyone loves their lyrics and beats, they are an all around great group.
