Prayer Evangelism

Opportunities for helping
others and bettering the world are constantly presented to the
students at Valley Christian. Seeing how much poverty, war, and
disease fills society, it easily becomes overwhelming to know
where to start. Prayer Evangelism has initiated outreaches for
the entire school’s participation. Below are ideas for getting
involved.
***Buy a “Support our Troops”
magnets for $5: The money will send care packages to the soldiers
in Iraq.
***Care Packages for solders:
Grab a gallon sized zip lock bag and fill it with items such as
stamps, gum, a scarf, stationary etc.
***Leftover lost and found
will be given to the community.
***Treats to local Fire
Department and Police Station on for Valentine’s Day: Bake cookies,
cupcakes, or brownies, and bring them to room 206 on February
13 or 14.
***Bring $2- to your Bible
teacher to help support the 10 children Valley Christian is sponsoring
through Compassion Organizations.
***On February 12, Jake
Viramontez will be traveling to the Ivory Coast. He will be bringing
medication to a place where 99% of the people have never received
medical attention. A donation of $3- will immunize one person
for the diseases of Meningitis, Yellow Fever, and Typhoid Fever.
