Feisty J.V. Boys Soccer Team Finishes Season on a Positive Note
by Lucas Paule
The boys J.V. soccer team has made much progress this season. The Junior Varsity program prepares the players well to play in the perpetually tough West Catholic Athletic League. The team has accumulated a record of 4 wins, 13 losses, and 3 ties. Impact players Trevor Plug and Theo Matteau were able to help the team still prove to be a challenge in the WCAL. Though the team did not have many wins, most of their losses were close in which they lost by a small margin. They finished their season with a tie against St. Ignatius. Sophomore Christian Kim stated, “Throughout the season, we have become really close and our team has bonded.” It’s been a tough season for the players but their hard work will eventually pay off. The varsity team has many players that have developed and honed their skills on the J.V. team and have gone on to do well at the varsity level.
