by Kylie Gifford
The freshmen baseball team has concluded their season with a final record of (5-7-1). Since the first preseason game in early March, the freshmen boys have battled their way through the WCAL and an extremely rainy season.
In the last few games of the season, Valley took both the good with the bad. After earning victories over Riordan and Bellarmine, the Warriors were unable to defeat their opponents from Sacred Heart Cathedral and Serra.
The Warriors faced every opponent with determination, showing Christ-like attitudes as they played with heart. Though some rivals proved difficult to overcome, the boys are satisfied with their season and look forward to moving up in the league in the years to come.
