We here at the VCHS Warrior have our faults. Yes, that is a surprising revelation, but it is true. Sometimes, actually every time, we get pressed for time and mistakes slip through the cracks. Here is every single mistake we have made this past year. Actually it’s just a few.
The very first issue, October, brought probably the most noticeable eye tweaking mistake. Somehow our school colors became purple and grayish blue. (If it does not appear purple, the mistake must have come from the press).
Also, some stories tend to slide past the eyes during the proofreading process. In our defense, often times it is late, dark, and we are exhausted. We apologize for any misspelling of names, obscure facts, or other oddities that are accidents yet simply slid past our eyes. We hope that despite this, you have thoroughly enjoyed the 2005-2006 VCHS Warrior.

Just a few pictures have been misused and mistaken. Such as January’s page 17, that rugby picture is a couple years old.
Sometimes, ads need to be stretched. It is often times unavoidable, such as on page 8 of the December issue. Coldwell Banker ended up getting more space than they paid for, but to the reader, it is negligible.
(Not actual size from the page)

**Fun Fact** on page 20 of the December issue, the editor’s mom (Kim Giordano) makes an appearance in the Health-4-Self section)
Another rather frustrating noticeable mistake came on page 2: the clubs list. We received much feedback on this. At the beginning, the believed correct list was quite extensive, but it fit. As the year progressed, the list has slimmed and been modified, yet probably still is not entirely accurate.
