Restaurant Review: JSB at the Gift Center

by Kiley Brinkman, Tami Villa, and Jenn Elias

It is time to say goodbye, and for the final Restaurant Review it has been decided to evaluate the meal served at the Junior Senior Ball. Upon arrival, waiters were standing at the entrance with wonderful tropical smoothies for all prom goers. Guests then seated themselves on one of the three beautifully decorated floors. However, one major complaint was the seating. There was simply not enough tables or chairs for all the guests, and some were forced to eat their delicious plates on the stairs.

The guests then made their way to the buffet-style display of food. First in line was the amazing salad. Next up was a choice of terriyaki chicken or chicken marsala which were both steaming hot and absolutely delicious. There in line was an array of warm dinner rolls. The guests then proceeded to their tables and ate their dinner.

While all the people who attended prom were finishing their dinner, a delightful crew of servers was preparing the amazing fondue fountain. After dinner, the guests lined up and filled their plates with fabulous chocolate fondue. There was a choice of strawberries, brownies, pretzels, cake squares, and marshmallows. Junior Courtney Zane said, “The chocolate fountain was my favorite part. I definitely ate more chocolate then I should have!” Overall, the food at JSB was phenomenal and we all look forward to returning next year.
