Experiencing God at Spirit West Coast

Three Day Concert Set to Rock Northern California

by Tori Bergland

Beginning August 3 through August 5, set in Laguna Seca, over 20,000 Christians will come together for the tenth annual celebration of Spirit West Coast.  It is a place where many gather to celebrate God’s amazing grace and salvation, while many even revitalize their faith.  Although this event is a Christian concert, it is much more than that.  An opportunity to share time with family and friends, a little camping vacation, and amazing teachings are just a few examples of what a young individual may experience.

There will be a variety of speakers, including Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International who grew up as a missionary’s son in an African village, Erwin McManus, pastor of one of the top churches in America, and Michael Franzese, who was once an extremely wealthy and powerful Mafia boss.  Also, the concert includes music from: Jeremy Camp, Spoken, BarlowGirl, Kutless, Casting Crowns, and Valley Christian’s very own Joy Williams and Robby Valderrama in Cele De.

For purchase information, go to the SWC website, but on average, the whole weekend costs between $95-115, and for a one-day pass, it costs between $45-52.  Sign up soon to get a better price.

Spirit West Coast can be a great encounter for new Christians, as well as those more mature in their faith.  Only for a few days out of the summer, SWC will bring many memories to go along with learning great life lessons and bonding with some remarkable people.  For more information, visit: http://www.spiritwestcoast.org/.
