Brown Bag
Come to the theater for a treat
By Breanna Flippo
When you entered the theater
on the day of the brown bag for the month of October, one of the
first things to catch your eye was the giant Ketchup bottle built
by Michael Dominici. The short scene performed by Steven Wise
and Christiana Persia, was titled The Ketchup Bottle.
A man and a woman go out for lunch, but when the woman gets up
to get a salad, we see the man’s quirky habit. He slowly
starts peeling off the label of a ketchup bottle piece by piece.
Eventually, there is only a pile of balled up pieces of wrapper.
When the woman returns to the table, she notices what he has done
to the ketchup label. She and the man then proceed to fight about
his annoying habit.
“It had no real moral value, but it was very entertaining,”
commented Michelle Balazs. Come and join Valley Christian Theater
at lunch for upcoming brown bags.
