Extra
Candy
by: Taryn Gifford
What to do
with all that extra Halloween candy you spent hours trick-or-treating
for on the chilly night of Halloween? Here are some ideas in case
you just simply don’t know what to do, and hopefully these
will help you make that very important decision.
1. Make a necklace. There really is no real point for this, except
that you could hand them out at school and be super cool (this will
fast be the new trend, mark my words). Simply poke little holes
at each end of the candy wrappers and string ribbon through the
holes. Your friends will look absolutely fabulous and you can even
trade so you can all wear different necklaces, kind of like Mardi
Gras beads.
2. Make a milkshake. There is absolutely
no need to pay for a four or five dollar milkshake at Coldstone
when you have Halloween candy. Simply throw your favorite ice cream
and a little milk in the blender, add a few Butterfinger or Reeses
and voila: the perfect shake.
3. Bribe freshmen in the halls. This may not work, but it’s
worth a try. Say, for instance, your backpack is a little heavy
one day. Offer to give that special freshman a bag of candy to carry
your bag. Maybe you’ll make a new friend.
4. If all else fails and you still have tons
of candy, you could always drop it off in the journalism room (room
207). We’re always in need of some food for thought. |
