A number of Valley Christian
students continue their walk
with God by going to a private
Christian college hoping to
receive a great education and
grow further spiritually. The
Christian College Fair was held
on Monday night, September 25
from 6:00 to 8:30pm in the
Valley Christian main gym, where
there were many college
representatives around the room
speaking to parents and future
college students, providing
general information about their
college and answering questions.
Not only were the college
representatives giving
information about their college,
but there were two financial aid
seminars during the college fair
to let others know how financial
aid works and what to do to
receive it.
To many incoming juniors, it was
a great event to attend because
of the information that was
given out. College reps informed
students about what classes are
available for that certain
college, which gave students a
broader picture of what college
is like through brochures and
pictures. Also many students
from the Bay Area schools
attended this college fair as
well. Over 30 colleges came to
the fair, some from across the
country, and two colleges
located in Canada. The colleges
and universities came to promote
their school to invite young,
intelligent student to come and
be a part of their tradition.
